Elders, olders and young queer mob in dialogue about freedom, self and expression.
OUT IS OUT examined the generation gap in queer politics, exhibiting work by people who paved the way for LGBTIQ self-expression and freedom and a new generation of activits; young queer mob who challenge gender identifying language and norms.
This exhibition included an Artist in Conversation event, this was a special iteration in that it included a live tattooing along with the panel discussion between Lee Stain, Susan Maco Forrester and Alison Bennett.

A peek into Wyndham City’s treasures; past, present and future.
Wyndham Art Gallery pulled back the curtain and opened the doors to reveal the City’s treasures for community and visitors to see. Join us on opening night and discover the changing identity of Wyndham City expressed by its historical, civic and contemporary art collections.
Wyndham Art Gallery debuted new works to the collection, including a Mirka Mora which had been on loan to the Heide Museum of Modern Art, a photograph by Leilani Fuimaono, a painting by Sue Anderson, and a collaborative work created by Jessie Deane and Wyndham community members. In addition we juxatposed the Michael Cooks juxtaposed with Wyndham landscapes in an exhibition that will have something for everyone.
Due to COVID-19 this exhibition never opened to the public, but a video tour was produced (view here) as well as an Exhibition Catalogue, which you can read by clicking here.

PINK - A hue where feminine and feminism collide.
Presented in the lead-up to International Women’s Day this exhibition explored the use of pink and other feminine motifs in creative practice by women. Once maligned for being girly and diminutive, pink is reclaimed and presented in hues ranging from hot pink to millennial with works exploring the social, biological and performative intersections of colour in practice.
Intended as a platform for dialogue, PINK explores where the combination of second wave feminism and neo-liberal feminism has brought women artists today. Covering a range of mediums, the pieces in this show presented a variety of creative practices and approaches to feminist narratives, each using pink as an element to strengthen their work not minimise it.
Featuring artwork by Anastasia Klose, Trace Lamb, Lola-Mae Pink, Maja Malou Lyse & Arvida Byström, Honey Long & Prue Stent, Jessie Adams.
